main responsabilities:

 Reporting to the Head of GMA Business Unit, the main roles and responsibilities of the Head of Repair Management are to:
  • Manage a worldwide repair stations network
  • Ensure our repair contractors / suppliers perform in line with the signed contracts in terms of operational performance (SPT, service level) and costs target
  • Manage locally repair team in charge of repair administrator which is under the lead of Head of EUMEA repair management, and ensure operational link with Head of Repair  Management in US and Asia
  • Manage technical team of repair analyst in charge of scopes analysis and challenges
  • Manage subcontractor of repair team on the administrative tasks and ensure worldwide alignments with repair processes and KPIs
  • Define and implement worldwide repair strategy (repair flow allocation per zone, per PN…) and identify alternatives when required
  • Contribute to GMA and DMC Cost reduction objective by defining new workscopes with suppliers, identify areas for improvements and challenge repair quotations from suppliers
  • Work in close collaboration with Procurement department during repair contracts negotiation (cost target and workscope definition, operational points…) and implementation (penalties..)
Key figures: ~60M$ costs per year, ~10 persons managed locally in Toulouse (+ operational link with Miami and Singapore area), ~80 suppliers

key skills / key personal attributes / experience required:

  • University engineering degree
Expected skills:
  • Team management and experience in transnational / worldwide work
  • Technical and/or engineering knowledge on systems (avionics/hydraulics) or main elements and repair activities.
  • Profound knowledge of component repair. At least 5 to 10 year experience in OEM/MRO industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Outstanding communication and personal skills with external contributors (suppliers) or internal (team or others contributors / Internal customers)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work,
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong attention to detail
  • Availability and flexibility for international travelling
  • Pro-active proposal of improvements and open minded on change
  • Fluent in English, other languages would be a plus
