position summary:

Within the ATR Procurement Division, and under the responsibility of the Head of FAL, Engineering and Customer Support Procurement, the buyer will be in charge of industrial services, materials and tools, for the MRO and Flight tests.
The main responsibilities of the buyer are the implementation of the actions, the adequate organization and contribution to the achievement of the Procurement targets. The buyer will ensure the responsibility of a suppliers’ portfolio and will be in charge of the compliance regarding procurement procedures from the specification until the final delivery as well as the follow-up for supplier’s performances.

main responsabilities:

  • Management of the buyer activities
  • Support to the internal customers in the specification of their functional needs
  • Lead and management of RFI, RFQ and RFP process for products/services
  • Lead and help to the qualification of suppliers with the Quality function
  • Identify risks related to services and suppliers for FAL, define actions to mitigate risks and ensure the execution of these actions within the right timeframe
  • Identify opportunities, propose and lead associated actions
  • Carry out the negotiations with the suppliers and optimize the purchase conditions
  • Negotiation, set up and management of contracts
  • Ensure the follow-up  and administration of the contracts with the internal customers, based on factual and coherent KPI’s
  • Control performances’ obligations of the suppliers in terms of quality, costs and planning through contract review and/or suppliers performances meetings, in collaboration with operational teams
  • Support and contribute to projects & initiatives related to Procurement strategy and objectives

key skills / key personal attributes / experience required:

  • Master (Bac + 5) with a specialization or experience in Procurement
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial purchasing activities (services, materials, tools and consumables)
  • Ability, Experience and Negotiation Skills
  • Capabilities for analysis and synthesis
  • Strong knowledge of contractual aspects and negotiation
  • Aeronautical knowledge (structure / equipment / tools ..)
  • Strong ability to negotiate
  • Team spirit, communication facilities
  • Proactive approach
  • Ability to listen actively
