ATR Gets Government Funding for Big Data Project

ATR is thrilled to announce that our big data project has just been selected by the French government as part of the national recovery plan for the aeronautics industry (“France Relance”). This entitles us to receive a subsidy from the French government, to boost our ongoing digital developments.

Through this ambitious three-year plan, worth 300 million euros, France aims to support investments that will help the industry recover from the Covid-19 crisis, adapt to the “new normal”, whilst remaining competitive and cutting-edge.

With the support of our institutional stakeholders (DREETS and Direction Générale des Entreprises), ATR will be able to boost the development of our big data platform, which is one of the pillars of our Digital Transformation roadmap.

This “Data Value Platform” will bring several benefits. It will centralise internal data, making it easier to access and facilitating decision-making internally. It will also provide greater capabilities to analyse the data, either for internal purposes or to improve existing services to customers and develop new ones (analyses of flight and maintenance data, for instance).

This government-funded project is an amazing opportunity for ATR to build solid foundations to welcome new digital developments, which will help us remain the preferred choice for our customers long into the future.
