ATR reaches out to young people in need of professional integration

Numerous initiatives have been launched within ATR to promote inclusion and diversity – the cornerstone of the creativity required to maintain our position as world leader in regional aviation.

As part of this commitment, ATR reached out to five young people whose personal circumstances have proved an obstacle to professional integration. Thanks to a national “work experience” initiative, they were offered the chance to discover several inspiring professions within ATR at the end of January: mechanic, logistics coordinator, cabin integrator and electrician, to name a few. They actively participated in the daily life of a top company, world leader in its market. As a result of this placement, they acquired experience that may prove to be a true springboard for their subsequent professional integration.

ATR aims to go a step further and become a benchmark player as regards the employability of young people and professional inclusion, as part of its commitment to pursuing equal opportunities.

ATR is proud of this community initiative, developed in partnership with the Occitanie Direccte organisation (Regional Department of Enterprise, Competition, Consumer Affairs, Labour and Employment) and the Haute-Garonne Local Mission – particularly its branches in Toulouse and Blagnac.

Further actions are under consideration and will be put forward with a view to reinforcing this initiative.
