The ATR 72-600 ready to enter the Angolan market

With Bestfly, ATR consolidates its presence in Africa
The signing ceremony for the two ATR 72-600s, leased from ACIA Aero group by the Angola-based aviation services company Bestfly, took place on Friday 2 August 2019 at the Francazal airport near Toulouse, in the South of France. ATR’s CEO, Stefano Bortoli, the CEO of Bestfly, and the representatives of ACIA Aero group were all present at this major event, which marks the entry of the ATR 72-600 onto the Angolan market.
Whether operated in a passenger or cargo configuration, the ATR is a safe bet for airlines around the world, which can rely on its economics, operational flexibility and outstanding reliability. The aircraft will be operated by Bestfly to offer nationwide corporate and charter services. These two aircraft are covered by the ATR Global Maintenance Agreement (GMA), signed by Bestfly in June, and will enjoy customised support to ensure optimum availability.
The energy performance of the ATR 72-600, which consumes 40% less fuel and emits 40% less CO2 than regional jets, makes it the ideal aircraft for regional operations.
