« Fast Track »: Worldwide management of ATR spare parts entrusted to DHL

European manufacturer of turboprop aircraft ATR has signed a new contract with DHL for the worldwide management of its stocks of spare parts. In accordance with the agreement, baptized “Fast Track”, DHL offers a complete business solution for the logistics requirements of ATR, ensuring the worldwide distribution of spare parts via five logistics platforms operating on four continents. The contract also includes management by DHL of customs clearance formalities for ATR parts and equipment.

ATR chose DHL for the excellence of their offer and their experience in addition to their service logistics presence in more than 140 countries. The very global presence of DHL allows ATR to further reduce parts delivery times for their operators. “Fast Track" also allows ATR to support its development in emerging markets by offering their new operators a high-quality customer service based on the management and logistical reliability of DHL.

“Since 2005 the number of ATR operators has increased by more than 50% and we are now present in over 90 countries. We need to support this growth with a customer service that is perfectly adapted to the particular requirements of airlines. The signing of “Fast Track” contract with DHL is in line with this logic of service excellence”, declared Lilian Braylé, ATR Senior Vice-President Product Support and Services.
