ATR Maintains CDP “B” Score, Strengthening its Commitment to Limit its Environmental Impact

For the third year in a row, ATR has earned a “B” score in CDP’s Climate Change assessment, an achievement that reflects the company’s consistent commitment to transparency, and meaningful action to reduce its environmental footprint.  

A Recognised Benchmark for Climate Transparency 

CDP (formerly Carbon Disclosure Project) is a globally recognised, independent organisation that assesses companies on the quality and completeness of their climate disclosures, their management of climate-related risks and opportunities, and the robustness of their decarbonisation strategies. 

A “B” score reflects Management-level performance, acknowledging structured and effective actions to monitor, reduce and govern environmental impact across the organisation. 

Maintaining this score for three years in a row underscores the consistency of our approach and the strength of our long-term low-carbon-roadmap. 

ATR’s Commitment to Decarbonising Regional Aviation 

Sustainability is a strategic priority for us and fully embedded in our long-term vision.
ATR continues to advance actions that enable a lower-carbon future for air transport. These include: 

• A solid decarbonisation pathway, validated in 2023 by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), that builds on ambitious emissions-reduction targets across Scopes 1, 2 and 3, aligned with the Paris Agreement and our ambition to contribute to Net Zero by 2050: 

1- 50.4% reduction in absolute greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from operations and energy use (Scopes 1 & 2) by 2030 

2- 30% reduction in absolute GHG emissions from its in-service aircraft fleet (Scope 3 – use of sold products) by 2030
(Both targets use 2018 as the baseline.) 

• Continuous improvement of aircraft efficiency, ensuring that ATR turboprop aircraft remain the lowest-emission regional aircraft available on the market 

• Strong support for the deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and other innovations enabling lower-carbon regional mobility

This latest score highlights the strength and reliability of our strategy and reinforces our determination to support customers in transitioning toward lower-emission operations worldwide.
