Flight Safety Connection TV

ATR continues to look at new and dynamic ways to communicate and receive your feedback. In 2020 it was not possible to host the Flight Safety Conference in its traditional format. We will return to normal face-to-face meetings as soon as we can. In the meantime, we propose a broadcast on a quarterly basis, Flight Safety Connection TV.

The first broadcast was on 14 January 2021. The format was a one hour question and answer session. The theme for the first broadcast was flight crew training. Our guests were:

• Captain Herve BARTHE, ATR Head of Flight Crew Training
• Captain Johan MAHRSTROM, ATR TRI/TRE
• Captain Matthieu OLLIVIER, ATR Flight Test Pilot

The focus of the session was upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) followed by a discussion on managing the training requirements during the pandemic.

As we roll out this new format, customer interviews, questions and feedback amongst the ATR operator community remain an essential part of Flight Safety.
