10 Reasons Why ATR Loved the 55th Paris Air Show

From flying displays to strategic milestones, from global partnerships to powerful conversations – the 55th Paris Air Show was everything we hoped for, and more.

Here’s why this iconic event holds such a special place in our hearts.

  1. Because it brings the world to one runway
With 300,000 visitors, 2,500+ exhibitors, and 210 flying displays, the Paris Air Show remains the largest aerospace gathering on Earth — a place where new ideas take flight and the world connects around a shared vision of progress.
  2. Because it reflects the strength of our market momentum
With 30 new commitments in H1 2025 — including 19 aircraft for UNI Air and 11 for undisclosed customers — we reached 1,900 aircraft sold since programme launch. That’s 1,900 reasons to believe in turboprop performance and regional connectivity.
  3. Because it’s where growth meets vision
The JSX announcement marked a major step forward in the U.S. market. Their new ATR 42-600 operations and LOI for 15 ATR HighLine aircraft (plus 10 purchase rights) show growing demand for efficient, high-end regional travel.
  4. Because it’s where flexibility meets elegance
Air Tahiti’s choice of the All-Business Class ATR HighLine cabin will elevate its new VIP service — proof that our aircraft are as adaptable as they are efficient.
  5. Because it’s a celebration of innovation and sustainability
This year, ATR proudly announced the CS-CO₂ certification of the ATR 72-600, reaffirming its place as the most fuel-efficient aircraft in its class. From a MoU with SAF pioneer ATOBA to next-gen propulsion R&D with Pratt & Whitney Canada, we saw once again that collaboration fuels innovation — and that true industrial partnerships are built on shared purpose.
  6. Because it brings institutions and industry together
We were honoured to welcome key figures such as François Bayrou, Stéphane Séjourné, Philippe Tabarot, Salvatore Sciacchitano, and Apostolos Tzitzikostas. Their presence reflects the growing recognition that regional aviation is key to territorial development.
  7. Because regional air mobility matters more than ever
At the Paris Air Show, we unveiled our latest Global Turboprop Market Forecast — anticipating demand for 2,100 new passenger aircraft and 500 freighters over the next two decades. This outlook confirms a clear global trend: fleet modernisation and low-emission connectivity are no longer optional — they’re essential. In fact, 6 out of 10 new turboprops are expected to replace older, less efficient aircraft.During her keynote at the Paris Air Lab, our CEO Nathalie Tarnaud Laude reminded us why this matters: regional aviation has a vital role to play in building a more efficient, responsible, and inclusive mobility system. One that brings people closer, connects economies, and lowers our environmental footprint — all at once.
  8. Because our aircraft make people look up in awe
The ATR 72-600’s daily flying displays dazzled crowds, while the Azul-liveried aircraft on static display gave visitors a feel for comfort, design, and purpose-built performance.
  9. Because the future of flight needs every voice
At Le Bourget, we saw the next generation of aviation leaders — curious students, passionate young professionals, and inspiring women breaking new ground. From our partnership with Fondation ENAC around the ProPulse initiative, to our collaboration with France Travail, the Paris Air Show championed inclusion and diversity as essential engines of progress. At ATR, we believe that when everyone has a seat in the cockpit — the sky isn’t the limit, it’s just the beginning.
  10. Because we do it together
From the fantastic ATR team on-site to every colleague who prepared, presented, posted, and performed with energy and heart — you made this week unforgettable. Our thanks to everyone who stopped by, listened, shared, and reminded us why we love what we do.

We thank our customers, partners, and visitors for their trust and enthusiasm throughout the show—and look forward to the future we’re building together.
