Getting more out of MRO, ATR present at MRO Europe
A delegation from ATR attended MRO Europe in Amsterdam, the region’s most important event for the commercial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) industry, from 16-18 October with more than 9 000 participants. Organised by Aviation Week, a key publication in the aviation industry, the event aimed to create opportunities for key stakeholders in the MRO industry to exchange ideas, discuss best practice, share experience, gather knowledge and collaborate to find solutions to common challenges. Attendees ranged from Airlines, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) Leasing Companies, MRO Service Providers and Aviation Authorities and Regulators. Aviation Week also organises similar events in the Americas and Singapore each year, allowing MRO stakeholders from all over the world to benefit from this forum.
ATR’s delegation included representatives from Customer Services and the ATR Training Center, who provided information about the Maintenance Training solutions that we offer. This year the conference also presented the MRO Market Forecast for the next 10 years. Such information naturally is extremely important in feeding into ATR’s Services strategy over the next decade.
MRO activities are crucial for ATR as the Services that we offer are vital to both keeping our current clients happy as well as for attracting new customers and operators. ATR is strongly developing its MRO capabilities through its one Stop Shop MRO facility in Francazal, but also thanks to its MRO network partners. ATR’s bespoke GMA (Global Maintenance Agreement) offer is a tailor-made power-by-the-hour maintenance package, designed to help our operators better anticipate their maintenance costs while enhancing dispatch reliability. Currently, GMAs cover one quarter of ATR’s total fleet and over half of our operating -600 fleet.
