Skyways Technics becomes new member of the ATR MRO Network
Launched in 2012, this MRO network already includes maintenance and service providers based in Asia, Latin America and Europe. The MRO network is an essential part of the regional policy deployed by ATR, which aims to offer high quality, local solutions to its operators for maintenance, logistics and training.
Founded on the basis of Cimber Air Maintenance Center A/S, MRO of one of the first ATR operators in Europe, Skyways Technics has over 30 years of maintenance experience on ATR aircraft. Its offer features a wide range of aircraft maintenance services, from line to base maintenance and on-site support.
Commenting on this new agreement, Benjamin Nielsen, Chief Executive Officer of Skyways Technics, declared: “We are proud of the expertise we have developed on ATR aircraft for three decades. Today, integrating its network is a real sign of recognition for us. Our geographic situation in the Southern part of Denmark makes it easy and fast to access from anywhere in northern Europe and Scandinavia, a region with a significant number of ATRs in operation.”
Tom Anderson, Senior Vice President Commercial and Customer Support of ATR, declared: “Skyways Technics has been providing highly-qualified and reliable maintenance solutions to ATR aircraft for years, thus becoming a natural choice when expanding our offer of services in northern Europe. We are pleased to partner with such a recognized service provider when it comes to supporting our increasing fleet in this region.”
