Christian Scherer departs ATR following appointment as Airbus Chief Commercial Officer

Toulouse, 13 September 2018 – ATR confirms the statement issued today by Airbus appointing Christian Scherer as its Chief Commercial Officer with immediate effect. The succession of Christian Scherer as CEO of ATR will be announced in the coming days.
 
In his time at ATR, Christian has made crucial contributions to the company, at commercial level as well as preparing the grounds for the future of ATR as a leader in regional aviation with an improved governance structure and further product developments. 
 
Christian Scherer commented “I have been incredibly lucky to have lead ATR for the past years and to set out the path for its sustainable future.
